Snake Academy Privacy Policy

Snake Academy is a game for practising reading and math, made for children and their families. It is built to collect nothing.

Information we collect

We do not collect, store, share or sell any personal information. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. The game itself does not need the internet; the only time it uses a connection is when a parent chooses to buy or restore the full version through Google Play (see Purchases below).

Information kept on the device

To remember each child's game, the app saves the following on the device itself:

• the player names and snake colors a child or parent picks
• game settings
• levels, stars and scores
• simple practice statistics (for example, which letters were picked correctly), shown on the in-app progress page

This information stays on the device and is never sent to us or anyone else. If the device's own Android backup is turned on, Android may include it in that backup to your Google account, so progress can come back on a new phone; we never receive or see it. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in Android settings, deletes it permanently. A parent can also delete a player and their progress under Grown-ups → Kids, which is protected by a grown-up question.

Speech

Questions are read aloud using voice recordings built into the app. Snake Academy does not record or listen to audio and does not use the microphone. If a word is not in the recordings (such as a child's name), the device's own text-to-speech engine may read it. That is handled by the speech engine on your device, not by us.

Purchases

Pre-K and Kindergarten are free. 1st to 3rd grade can be unlocked with a one-time purchase. The purchase button is only reachable after a grown-up question. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play under Google's own terms and privacy policy; Snake Academy never sees card details, names or email addresses. The app only asks Google Play, on the device, whether the full version has been bought, and remembers the answer on the device. We do not receive or store any purchase information.

Children's privacy

Because we collect no personal information from anyone, including children under 13, we have nothing to disclose, share or delete. The app contains no ads, no chat and no links out of the app.

Permissions

Snake Academy does not request any sensitive Android permissions (such as location, camera, microphone or contacts). It uses the standard Google Play billing permission, which only allows purchases through Google Play, and internet access, which is used only for that purchase.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
